DA Abroad UK Organising Committee announced for 2012

London, [11 January 2011] – The Democratic Alliance Abroad UK are pleased to announce the Organising Committee members for 2012. The Organising Committee is a group of engaged volunteers who are passionate about South African and achieving the Democratic Alliance’s objectives of an Open Opportunity Society for all South Africans.

Members of the 2012 UK Organising Committee include:
Chairperson – Ludre Stevens
Vice-Chairperson – Francine Higham
Secretary – Simionne Marshall
Treasurer – Neville Marshall
Fundraising Officer – Sibylla Tyndale
Network Development Officer – Jessica Shelver
PR & Marketing Officer – Jessica Shelver
Media & Press Liaison – Francine Higham

The committee were elected via an online ballot system and announced at the first committee meeting of the year on Wednesday, 11 January. Nigel Bruce, continues in the un-elected post of Patron for the Democratic Alliance Abroad – UK.

Chairperson, Ludre Stevens, welcomed the committee, “Last year was a great year for the DA Abroad, and we made considerable progress in achieving our objectives. This year is already looking to be a more exciting and active year for the DA Abroad, and I’m looking forward to working with the very talented and passionate committee announced here today.”
