South African Elections 2019: Overseas Voting Day

South Africans abroad can cast their vote in the 2019 national elections on Saturday, 27 April 2019 from 07:00 – 19:00 at their nearest South African diplomatic mission. (Yes, we got weekend voting!)
In order to vote abroad, you must:
1. Be registered to vote. Check your status here: https://www.elections.org.za/content/For-voters/My-voter-registration-details/. It doesn’t matter if you’re registered in SA.
2. Complete the VEC10 form to inform the IEC that you plan to vote abroad. No VEC10 = No Vote Abroad. The deadline is 13 March 2019 at midnight (UTC+02:00) >> http://bit.ly/VEC10-2019
3. Have your green, bar-coded ID book; smartcard ID; or valid Temporary Identity Certificate; and your valid South African passport or temporary passport in order to vote. Voting stations will be open from 07:00 – 19:00
4. Head to your nearest SA foreign mission to cast your vote on the 27 April 2019.
Even if you registered abroad to vote, EVERYONE MUST submit a VEC10 form by 13 March 2019 at midnight (UTC+02:00) informing the IEC of your intention to vote abroad.
No VEC10 = No Vote.
