Freedom Day Bring & Braai – Melbourne

Come join us in celebrating South Africa’s Freedom Day with a fun Bring & Braai in Albert Park Melbourne near the gym area.
South Africa celebrates Freedom Day each year on 27th April, marking the anniversary of the day in 1994 when the country of our birth held its first ever all-race, democratic election, ending apartheid.
We may be far from home, but on this significant day, let’s gather to braai together, toast to our country’s Democracy and enjoy the company of fellow South Africans.
The DA Abroad are a group of South Africans who are passionate about the country of our birth, South Africa, volunteering for the DA and bringing South Africans from across Australia, New Zealand and all neighbouring islands together as a community.
This event will be hosted by Alicia Voges and Dawn Stolp.
No RSVP necessary, but do we’d appreciate if you could indicate if you’ll be attending so we have an idea of numbers.
