Mali Representative, Mali
I grew up in Pinetown KwaZulu Natal.I studied for a Diploma in Emergency Medicine and qualified in 1994, I worked extensively for the KwaZulu Natal AEMS throughout KwaZulu Natal gaining valuable experience. After working in both public and the private sector I was offered a paramedic position with a major SA mining house in Tanzania in 2004 and haven’t looked back. After Tanzania I moved to Guinea and then onto my current position in Mali (6 years so far). In Mali I discovered my passion for malaria vector control, and have aimed at reducing malaria within the mine’s surrounding communities. My husband and son currently live in our new home in Wilderness Western Cape, having recently moved from Meyerton.
