Paris, FranceMary Paccard
European Regional Forum Treasurer & France Committee Chairperson
Paris, France
Mary Paccard is proud to represent her country abroad. Being a mother, co- author, small business owner and nurturing person, she strives for the best of humanity and in transforming ourselves so that we may all consciously build a better future together.
Mary studies and loves philosophy and practising the Dharma (the Buddha’s teachings of the mind). She is an English teacher, runs workshops and mentors teens – guiding them to develop their full potential through their qualities.
It’s important for her to have honest, authentic relationships with whomever she meets. South Africa is a country that is so beautiful and has everything to offer the world, though a country that is going through obstacles, she sees hope for it believing that if we have a just and altruistic society we can attain that. Mary wants to represent her country internationally so others see how diverse our culture is. The DA has the vision of diversity, equality, freedom and equal opportunity, and she is proud to represent them.

Paris, FranceAnthony de Rauville
Committee Member
Paris, France
Anthony de Rauville was born and raised in the small coastal farming town of Salt Rock, KwaZulu Natal. These early years were spent in a community that fostered a spirit of openness, collaboration and solidarity. They shaped his attitudes, beliefs and values and led him to stand as a committee member for the DA Abroad in France.
As a young South African, Anthony believes there has never been a time more appropriate to involve himself in the future of our country. He looks forward to hopefully committing his time, knowledge and passion into strengthening and developing the work of the DA Abroad.
