Canada RepresentativeSte-Agathe-des-Monts, Canada
I am originally from Welkom in the Free State. Over the last 17 years I have lived in France, the United States and now Canada. I am trained and qualified as an Early Childhood Educator, but have spent most of the last decade at home focusing on raising my four children.
During my youth and young adulthood in South Africa I was very involved in youth and volunteer work. Since then I have always tried to involve myself in benevolence within my local communities. I recently returned back to school to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies and Community Development.
My hope is to return to South Africa at some point in the future. I am very passionate about our country. I believe in its people and its future. I know that no significant change can be accomplished without hard work. I also believe that it is important to be aligned with those who share the same heart and vision for our country. This is why I am excited and motivated be a part of the DA Abroad through which I can already now contribute to the future of this great place we call home.
